ABOUT ME
Shawn Gray is a maker of movies, player of stages, iser of improv, climber of rocks, and taco-nnoisseur.
Shawn earned his BFA in Film & Animation from the Rochester Institute of Technology. While at college he studied directing, but soon after realized he would have to pick up the camera, lights, and sound equipment himself to make magic happen. He has worked on indie films, industrial videos, music videos, and commercials for a variety of clients including LiDestri Food and Drink, George Eastman House, Indus Hospitality Group (Microtel, Taco Bell, and KFC), MOH recipient David Bellavia, the Buffalo Bills, and Making it on Broadway.
His most recent national film project included additional photography for Be Natural: The Untold Story of Alice Guy-Blache, produced by Robert Redford, and he is currently the Director of Photography and Lead Editor on a documentary about the life of silent film actress Louise Brooks. Shawn is also a comedian and stage actor.
